Visual mockup - create a mockup of your design in order to get aesthetic feedback from your user. This prototype could be in the form of a 3D model superimposed on a photo, physical prototype, detailed sketch, or video.

After completing a visualisation prototype based off the ideation sketches and story board they liked I again went back to my client Luke Nelson and his mum Vicki Nelson. I wanted to ask them a few questions on what they thought of it! I sent them a video of it in action in a darker room as well as the aesthetic during the day time.

Does this solve their problem?

Yes absolutely they said! It is dim enough to be a night light and to be ok for reading. they also noted you didn't necessarily need a story book to go with it as you could make up your own with the images. I thought this was a really fun idea and again inspires creativity

Do they like the look of it?

They absolutely loved the look of it! They loved the flax and wood. One thing they both agreed on although is that instead of having rounded edges keeping it square.

Changes I am going to be making from this feedback:

When making my final I need to make the lamp taller. as the further away the light is from the silhouette the more detailed it is. light source needs to be concentrated with no light bleeds which occurred in the prototype model. this could have been solved but lacked material at home.
