Hi im brooke *:.。. .。.:*·゜ﾟ·*
I am a first-year design student at the University of Auckland.
Design has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can recall. I vividly remember when I was younger creating paper outfits for my dolls, baking just so I could decorate my creations, or trying to convince my sister to paint and draw with me! Any free moment I am given you will find me creating!
I'm always on Pinterest. searching for the latest graphic design and fashion trends or following the Kardashians and other influences (guilty) to see what styles are in.
It only came into my realisation in the last year of high school that I can turn my passion into a career when I looked into the new design course at the University of Auckland. I am interested in the AR and UX aspect of the degree but I am very open to every type of design.
By the end of this degree, I want to get more confident in new programs like blender and 3D printing software as I believe there is so much growth in the fashion industry in these areas. I also want to grow and develop a clear aesthetic as im constantly changing it.
When I finish university I can see myself either working for a streetwear fashion label, designing the newest and latest filters for Instagram or even owning my own business. I am excited to explore design in such a fresh perspective as I've only been exposed to a small part of a huge industry.
